Six Peak is looking for someone to join who seeks a firm with a secure foundation but still operates within a fast paced and flexible entrepreneurial environment. This person will play a key role in the future of Six Peak and will be exposed to all aspects of the business functions, strategy, and growth.
A Vice President in this role will be directly exposed to all stages of the real estate investment process, including transaction sourcing, research, underwriting, structuring, fundraising, due diligence, execution, asset management, and investor relations. The candidate must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where new challenges will arise frequently and must be approached in an intelligent, positive, and strategic manner.
What You’ll Do
DAY-TO-DAY
To include (but not limited to):
- Support of underwriting, due diligence, financial analysis of potential real estate transactions
- Analysis of potential investment acquisition opportunities with principal oversight
- Support creation of materials for fundraising
- Market research and analysis to identify opportunities and support strategic / fundraising initiatives
- Assisting in the financial and written reporting for asset management of existing investments
- Drafting and maintaining presentations for current and prospective projects for investor reporting and strategy materials
- Travel for site visits across the US for prospective transactions and for fundraising
DETAILED DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial
- Financial modeling of existing investments; create, maintain, and update existing investment models
- Review and analyze property budgets and prepare for review and discussion with principals
- Perform variance analysis of financial reports (i.e., budget versus actual, year-to-date performance, year-over-year performance)
- Monitor expenses in relation to real estate development budget
- Draft investor letters and manage reporting processes for lenders and investors
- Administer loan covenants and manage the drawdown of loan reserves
- Interface with lenders for approvals, new loans, and refinances
- Analyze cash available at each property and discuss any deficiencies/surplus with principals and recommending capital calls/distributions
Operations/Development
- Interface with property managers and other third parties including lawyers, accountants, partners, architects, and consultants
- Actively support development and redevelopment projects at select assets
- Manage tenant and management relationships and respond to all inquiries and correspondence
- Regularly visit properties and conduct on-site inspections
- Work with property managers to bid and oversee operational contracts and services for both repair & maintenance and capital improvements
- Work with consultant to review tenant insurance compliance with lease and property insurance compliance with loan
- Assist with dispositions and acquisition due diligence, as required,
About You

- Seven plus (7+) years of institutional or family office real estate experience
- Ability to multi-task and work in a high energy, team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal/tenant relations skills
- High degree of analytical and quantitative skill
- Demonstrated excellence in academic and extracurricular activities
- High proficiency with MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Substantial working knowledge of financial models, particularly asset-level underwriting analysis
- Strong organizational skills, demonstrated in presence, communication, and work product
- Excellent communication skill
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive demeanor
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects in parallel with minimal supervision
