Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team as the Supervising Psychiatrist of our MHO program. The candidate will need to be able to come on-site two (2) days per month and will need to be able to complete supervision and clinical service hours. This position is on a per-diem basis. 

Major Job Duties 

  • Assume responsibility for the supervision of the Clinical Director and other mental health professionals, including monthly on-site meetings, in accordance with state, federal, and payor regulations. 
  • Review and update necessary policies in collaboration with the Clinical Director and maintain compliance with billing, medical records and treatment best practices. 
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis as needed. 
  • Provide clinical services for clients and families as needed. 
  • Review and sign off on treatment plans created by assigned providers as needed. 
  • Supervise all psychiatric services and execute medication management as needed. 
  • All other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD/DO) plus completed residency in psychiatry. 
  • Licensed to practice Psychiatry within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 
  • Maintain current DEA number and eligibility to prescribe medication in Pennsylvania. 
  • Maintain a current Driver’s License. 
  • At least five (5) years of experience providing mental health treatment. 
  • Experience supervising other mental health professionals. 
  • A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance 
  • NPI Query 
  • Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services. 
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. 
  • Computer proficiency. 
  • The ability to provide telehealth. 

Pay:

  • $150/Hour (Remote and In-Person)
