Speech/Language Therapy
Our primary goal in speech/language therapy, as well as in our other services, is to build your child’s confidence and engagement in life. To achieve that, Integrated Therapy Solutions offers child led, family-centered speech/language therapy that fosters individual differences, promoting better outcomes.
Speech therapists at our center may work using an intensive model or follow a traditional model of 1 or 2 sessions/week depending on the needs and availability of the child and family to facilitate engagement, speech/language, social skills, executive function and beyond. Our therapists meet each child at their level of development and scaffold them to move up the developmental ladder at the most expedited level that a particular child is able to meet.
Both speech/language therapy and occupational therapy can help children who are struggling with executive function and educational skills.
Executive function is a term that describes your child’s ability to plan and organize, regulate emotions, problem-solve, and pay attention. Organically improving executive functioning by addressing the underlying developmental building blocks can help resolve present problems while preventing new ones. Executive function and self-regulation skills are the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully.
