Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized speech and language therapy services to children. You'll work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized communication plans that support each client's unique needs and goals.

Roles and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children and adolescents with ASD
• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing communication challenges related to autism, including language delays, social communication deficits, and alternative communication needs
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques specifically designed for individuals with ASD
• Provide parent/caregiver training and support to facilitate communication strategies in home environments
• Collaborate with behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches
• Document client progress through detailed session notes and regular progress reports
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client cases and coordinate care
• Stay current with latest research and techniques in autism-specific speech therapy approaches
• Support the development and implementation of social skills groups

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Minimum 2 years of experience
