Effective Intervention Services, LLC offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy to families with children and adolescents 0-22 years of age with special needs. Our goal is to meet each individuals needs by effectively developing goals that can be executed in any natural environment. Although our clients are the children we service, we believe that the family and caretakers play a huge role in the success of the child. By providing the necessary resources and support, our desire is to work collaboratively in making the greatest impact we can for each individual.

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct one on-one or group therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Under the supervision of a BCBA, the RBT implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans to improve communication, social skills, and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy programs as directed by a BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on clients' progress and behaviors.
  • Assist with skill development in communication, social interaction, and self-care.
  • Manage challenging behaviors using behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide support and coaching to clients and their families.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred).
  • RBT certification through the BACB.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong observational and communication skills.
