A Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with movement disorders, injuries, or physical disabilities. They work with patients to improve mobility, manage pain, and prevent further injury through customized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Use exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices to improve mobility and function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercises.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with doctors, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic exercises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
