Job Summary

We are an ABA therapy practice serving children ages 1–12 and are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide as-needed consultation services. This role is ideal for a PT looking for flexible, part-time contract work without required weekly hours.

The Physical Therapist will collaborate with our clinical team to support clients who may benefit from motor development guidance, movement supports, coordination strategies, and functional skill recommendations within an ABA setting.

Consultations will be requested based on client need, and the contractor will have the flexibility to schedule consults within a two-week timeframe. There is no obligation to accept a minimum number of hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy consultations for children ages 1–12 as requested
• Review relevant client information and collaborate with ABA clinical staff
• Offer recommendations for gross motor development, mobility, posture, balance, and coordination
• Provide guidance for movement-based supports and adaptive strategies
• Participate in consult meetings and provide written recommendations as needed
• Maintain professional documentation consistent with clinic expectations

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California (required)
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (ABA, OT, SLP, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication and consultation skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain timely follow-through

Pay: 

• $80.00 - $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 

• No more than 4 per week
