ABOUT NORTH TEXAS PEDIATRIC THERAPY

North Texas Pediatric Therapy (NTX) is a pediatric therapy practice and parent company to Behavioral Possibilities ABA & Speech Therapy. We provide therapy services to children with autism, developmental delays, and sensory processing challenges in the Frisco/Dallas area. We are credentialed with Parkland Community Health Plan, TriWest, and Wellpoint, with active client inquiries ready to be scheduled.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time or contract basis. The OT will assess and treat pediatric clients to improve their ability to perform daily activities, develop fine motor skills, and address sensory processing needs — with a strong focus on children with autism spectrum disorder.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each child's goals and family priorities
  • Provide direct OT services including sensory integration, fine motor, and self-care skill development
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, RBTs, and families to ensure coordinated care
  • Complete timely clinical documentation, session notes, and progress reports
  • Obtain and manage insurance authorizations for assigned clients
  • Provide parent coaching and home program recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Texas state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
  • NBCOT certification required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially autism and sensory processing disorders
  • Training in sensory integration (SI) or DIR/Floortime a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

  • Part-time / contract — flexible scheduling available
  • Clinic-based in Frisco, TX (in-home sessions may be available)
  • Competitive pay: $40–$60 per session depending on experience and caseload
  • W-2 or 1099 options available
