We are looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The OT will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help clients improve their ability to perform daily activities. The ideal candidate should have a patient-centered approach, excellent communication skills, and experience working with individuals with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine clients' needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve clients’ motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
- Provide hands-on therapy for clients in clinic, home, or school-based settings.
- Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Educate clients and families on therapeutic techniques to continue progress outside of sessions.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State Licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certified by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
- Experience working with children, adults, or specific populations (e.g., autism, sensory processing disorders, rehabilitation patients).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
