Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including inpatient care, clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. This role is essential in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with patients of all ages, including geriatrics and pediatrics, to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and mental abilities to determine their needs for occupational therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities.
  • Utilize knowledge of physiology to guide therapeutic practices and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapy and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercises.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients during therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Experience in inpatient settings, clinics, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of geriatrics, pediatrics, ICU care, occupational health, and rehabilitation practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a patient-centered focus.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their functional abilities.

  • $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
