The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality therapy services and evaluations to children supported by Abilis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with children who have sensory integration/processing needs, fine and gross motor delays, and neurological disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapy services to pediatric clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address sensory, motor, and neurological challenges.
- Work in home-based settings, providing therapy services that enhance the quality of life for children and their families.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support childrens developmental goals.
- Document and monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Must be a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist in the state of Connecticut.
- Strong understanding of sensory integration/processing, fine and gross motor delays, and neurological disorders.
- Preferred experience with pediatric feeding disorders and home-based therapy settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
