ABOUT THE ROLE
The Case Supervisor will oversee and assure the quality of services provided to the clients, coordinate and delegate the day-to-day operations of their assigned pod, and recommend and implement changes that improve delivery of services. The Case Supervisor will also provide direct services as determined by the Clinical Director.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Supervises RBT staff of the assigned program, evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for employment actions to the Clinical Director/Chief Clinical Officer.
- Leads the discussion in the daily operations of assigned pod(s) and ensures that regular parent/BCBA meetings are scheduled, and RBTs’ are meeting billable hours.
- Adhere to the clinical model of Apollo Behavior
- Conduct initial and ongoing language, skill, and behavior assessments, evaluations to determine the efficacy of instructional procedures & functional behavior assessments as needed
- Complete direction of client caseloads as appropriate and ensure the type and amount of direction is in compliance with the client’s insurance requirements (if applicable)
- Ensure individual and group supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are in compliance with BACB standards
- Assist direct care staff in obtaining their RBT credential
- Facilitate Action Plan meetings at least once per month for clients and staff
- Oversee and ensure Case Review Meetings are occurring among direct care staff
- Conduct as need meetings to ensure timely staff communications
- Provide ongoing training to caregivers
- Oversee and assist RBTs with client behavioral challenges
- Monitor for potential safety violations and educate/train staff of proper procedures
- Monitor client progress by completing program book checks at least quarterly
- Prepare Monthly reports for Organization Metrics
- Supervise client arrival and dismissal
- Complete staff performance evaluations & staff coaching as appropriate
- Follow to the organization’s disciplinary procedures
- Assist in the interviewing process as needed
- Participate in Apollo-sponsored professional development
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.
- Appropriate professional registration/certification by state/national authority required (BCBA)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical data and information. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- BCBA certification required
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Required Physical Activities: sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, listing, talking, seeing, hearing, repetitive motions.
- Characteristics of Work: frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, lifting and carrying objects up 100 pounds.
