As one of the leading ABA providers in Wake, Moore, Cumberland, and surrounding counties we are seeking a Director of Operations to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program. The ideal candidate must be a BCBA or Licensed Professional with extensive experience in ABA or clinical operations. Must be highly organized, deadline-driven, and detailed oriented.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality leadership, clinical supervision, and direction to BCBA’S, QASP-S’, ABAT’s and RBT’s
  • Oversee the quality and growth of the ABA clinical Program, including driving Program outcomes, efficiency, replication, and dissemination
  • Assists with recruiting staff for the ABA Therapy Program
  • Conduct behavior assessments and facilitate programming practices based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Facilitate parent training and support the stewardship of families across their life with the company
  • Actively shape approaches, feedback, and parent collaboration based on a deep understanding of family culture and skill repertoires into action with exemplary performance
  • Stay on top of relevant industry research on the Program(s) & incorporates it into practice
  • Verify that high-quality supervision and management is occurring
  • Promote companies professional, ethical, and people values and holds others accountable to live up to those standards
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization, staff, families, community, health care providers, etc.
  • Provide continuing education to employees, families, and our communities
  • Responsible for monitoring scheduling of client sessions to ensure authorized services are being provided
  • Conducts orientation for all new hires and assists with the onboarding process
  • Responsible for client Case Assignments
  • Assist with coordinating team building activities that promote a positive workplace culture
  • Serves as a company ambassador and is available to represent the company in the community and professional networking events, conferences, and various public relations activities
  • Completes monthly internal quality assurance audits
  • Responsible for the supervision and training of BCBA candidates
  • Maintains and monitors client admission waiting list and coordinates with families and referral sources on expected timelines for future admissions schedule
  • Responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting supervision meetings with BCBA’s, BCaBA’s and QASP’s and Behavior
  • Technicians or as needed based on supervision requirement set for by applicable boards and/or insurance companies (as needed)
  • Meets regularly with agency Executive Director and Clinical Director and notifies her immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Executive Director or Clinical Director
  • Oversees and directs the scheduling of the BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, QASP’s and Behavioral Technicians as needed and ensure proper billing entry
  • Understand, contribute to, and promote the mission of CCHS
  • Promotes CCHS brand to targeted communities and ensures that the brand is maintained
  • Maintains a database of referral sources and contacts and follows up as needed to maintain positive relationships
  • Identify healthcare, social service providers and schools that provide service to the target population

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential or Licensed Clinician with at least 5 years of experience leading or working on a team to develop or maintain an ABA or Clinical Program
  • Experience maintaining, developing, and creating a Program using strong ABA conceptual competency
  • Practices are derived from most up-to-date evidence-based standards
  • Proven experience as an inspirational team leader (positive, motivating) that has created a following of talented individuals
  • Highly skilled in training, development, and apprenticeship of other clinicians
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, structured workplace
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
  • Able to use computers and tablets for extended periods of time
  • Has access to reliable transportation, holds a valid driver’s license, and is able to pass a background check
