We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team. The BT will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate should be patient, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact on clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA to teach communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress during sessions.
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate behaviors.
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, and clinical supervisors to ensure consistent support for clients.
- Assist with behavior reduction plans and interventions as directed by the BCBA.
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required); Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (Preferred).
- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Certification (Preferred but not required; we provide training).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and maintain detailed documentation.
- Ability to work in various environments, including homes, schools, and clinics.
