The Center for Pediatric Therapies was established in 2001 to meet a need for specialized therapy services for children in Danville, Virginia. Since 2001, we have expanded to three additional locations in Martinsville, South Boston, and Lynchburg, Virginia. In 2004, Building Blocks Center for Autism was established as a division of CPT to be a resource for children with autism spectrum disorders.

We are looking for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) for our team that will bring their own diverse experiences and energy to CPT. We want to support you with doing your job effectively and successfully and offer support such as EMR, a billing specialist, and office staff to improve efficiency and allow the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to focus on providing successful, therapeutic ABA services.

The clinical BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills.

The Board Certified Behavior Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will work in a low-stress environment with our collaborative and supportive team of Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs), BCaBAs, RBTs, SLPs, OTs, and PTs to develop and perform ABA services for children on the autism spectrum.

The Center for Pediatric Therapies has locations in Danville, Martinsville, South Boston, and Lynchburg (Forest). This BCBA positions are based in our Danville, Virginia location. We offer speech, physical, occupational, and ABA therapy to children aged birth to 21 serving populations in Early Intervention, our outpatient clinic, and private day schools for students with disabilities. Full Job Description

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will:

● Develop and supervise individualized ABA programs for clients.

● Perform assessments and develop treatment plans, including Behavior Support Plans.

● Provide field supervision for clients as required by the treatment plan.

● Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of RBTs and behavior technicians (BTs) working towards RBT license.

● Review all session notes and data taken by RBT/BT to monitor client progress and RBT/BT proficiency.

● Provide parent training.

● Maintain a positive working relationship with the client's family and respond to guardian questions in a timely and professional manner.

● Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with parents, team members, and professionals to ensure optimal client progress and outcomes.

● Supervise RBTs, BTs, and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Minimum of Master's degree in applied behavioral analysis, psychology, or education.

● BCBA certification issued by the BACB.

● Appropriate VA state license.

● Valid VA driver's license and acceptable driving record.

● Prior experience working as BCBA or RBT preferred.

● Proficiency in Microsoft programs and ABA software.
