Essential Speech and ABA Therapy is a new private therapy program at (2 Ethel Road, Suite 205B, Edison, NJ 08817). We are looking for an experienced pediatric Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to oversee our brand new collaborative ABA center in Edison. This is a fully in-person role, ideal for a clinician who thrives in a team-based, center environment and values direct interaction with clients and staff. If you are ready to lead your own ABA program, this is the position for you!

At Essential Speech and ABA Therapy, our team of BCBAs, RBTs, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists collaborate to provide holistic and individualized services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) aged 18 months to 6 years old - all under one roof!

This role will require both clinical and leadership excellence. If you are ready to join a collaborative, integrated therapy team, this is the position for you!

Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct initial & ongoing assessments and write progress reports.
• Develop & monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans.
• Supervise Behavior Technicians.
• Develop and monitor individual behavior management protocols and behavior intervention plans for children.
• Provide support, instruction, and feedback to families and caregivers with regard to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors.
• Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analysis for all problem behaviors.
• Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and chart progress.
• Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service training
• Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests)
• Safety Management
• 25 hours of billable hours per week
• Billable bonus option up to 32 hours per week
• Support a caseload of 8-12 comprehensive clients with the support of a BCaBA or Lead RBT
• Work collaboratively with the owner of this site and the office manager to support clients and families.
• Coordinate care with in-house speech and OT providers.

Qualifications

• BACB Certification
• BLS / CPR certification
• Clear background check
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of behavioral theory and applied behavior analysis
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
