Responsibilities as a BCBA at Haim ABA

Conduct assessments using tools such as ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, QABF, MAS, FAST, and FBAs as needed.
Maintain an active caseload of 25–30 billable hours per week.
Develop Individualized Plans of Care and Behavior Support Plans.
Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support children’s progress.
Train, coach, and supervise treatment teams, including RBTs.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and ethical standards.
Provide supervision to interns as assigned.
Model and uphold ethical and professional standards.
Monitor and support daily RBT performance to ensure quality implementation of programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree (or higher) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Current BCBA certification (or pending exam eligibility for recent graduates).
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and procedures.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop goals, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Commitment to ethical practice and compassionate care.

Preferred:

Spanish-speaking candidates.
Prior clinical experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to remain active and engaged during therapy sessions (standing, kneeling, quick movements).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Visual and auditory capacity to monitor children during therapy.
SafetyCare training will be provided.
Work is primarily conducted in clinical and therapeutic settings with frequent interaction with children, families, and team members.
