Responsibilities as a BCBA at Haim ABA
- Conduct assessments using tools such as ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, QABF, MAS, FAST, and FBAs as needed.
- Maintain an active caseload of 25–30 billable hours per week.
- Develop Individualized Plans of Care and Behavior Support Plans.
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support children’s progress.
- Train, coach, and supervise treatment teams, including RBTs.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and ethical standards.
- Provide supervision to interns as assigned.
- Model and uphold ethical and professional standards.
- Monitor and support daily RBT performance to ensure quality implementation of programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Current BCBA certification (or pending exam eligibility for recent graduates).
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop goals, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to ethical practice and compassionate care.
Preferred:
- Spanish-speaking candidates.
- Prior clinical experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to remain active and engaged during therapy sessions (standing, kneeling, quick movements).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Visual and auditory capacity to monitor children during therapy.
- SafetyCare training will be provided.
- Work is primarily conducted in clinical and therapeutic settings with frequent interaction with children, families, and team members.
