Role Summary
The BCBA is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, caregiver collaboration, and ongoing program oversight for in-home ABA services. This role includes clinical decision-making, data review, program modification, and supporting treatment integrity with direct staff where applicable.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct functional/skill-based assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Develop and update behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs
- Review data regularly and adjust programming based on objective progress
- Train/coach RBTs/technicians (as applicable) to ensure treatment integrity
- Provide caregiver training and support generalization into daily routines
- Complete timely documentation to support authorizations, medical necessity, and progress
- Collaborate with leadership on clinical quality, systems, and best practices as we grow
Requirements
- Active BCBA (or BCBA-D) in good standing
- Maryland LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) or ability to obtain it (Maryland requires licensure for practicing behavior analysis, and the state lists BCBA/BCBA-D + master’s degree as key requirements).
