A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses, designs, and supervises ABA therapy programs to support individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. The BCBA collaborates with families and therapists to develop treatment plans aimed at improving behavior, communication, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Supervise RBTs and provide ongoing training and support.
- Analyze data and adjust interventions as needed.
- Work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure treatment success.
- Provide parent training and education.
- Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards of the BACB.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- BCBA certification through the BACB.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
