Role Statement
Responsible for working with management to identify specific applied behavior analysis practices to implement, and identify any additional evidence-based practice deemed appropriate for the delivery of personalized, high-quality ABA services. Role will work with management to oversee training of clinic staff, audit the provision of ABA services, audit the clinical documentation of ABA services,
contribute to the development & growth of the ABA Program and maintain a clinical caseload as determined by the Regional Clinic Manager and/or Executive Director. For their caseload, they will provide direct service and consultation, provide supervision to staff, conduct assessments, and train parents and caregivers.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of ABA services, delivery practices and regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in an organized manner to meet necessary deadlines
- Ability to communicate and engage in a professional, timely and respectful manner
- Strong professional and ethical business representation and performance.
- Hold a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, behavior analysis, or a related field
- Hold current BCBA certification and the ability to maintain as necessary
- Must have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience providing ABA services and assessment as a BCBA (3-5 years previous provision of ABA services as a behavior technician or behavior specialist preferred.)
- Clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families
- Experience conducting ABA treatment via Telehealth utilizing web-based systems
- Prior leadership or program development experience highly preferred
- Experience conducting behavioral and developmental assessments (VB-MAPPS, ABLLS, FBAs)
- Computer competency (tablets, cameras, EHR systems, Google Workspace)
- Ability to differentiate the need for ABA services from other behavioral or mental health services provided at Beyond Behavior
- Have the ability to travel to all Beyond Behavior locations and potential locations as needed to ensure validity and efficacy of ABA treatment.
- Must have the ability to appropriately respond to physically and emotionally challenging behavioral problems, client behavioral or emotional crisis and other emergency situations (includes the physical ability to become trained in the implementation of crisis response and de-escalation procedures)
- Leadership Function: Team oriented, shows ability to model and demonstrate skills delivered to clients, shows patience and understanding for clients and employees alike, demonstrates ability to follow appropriate boundary guidelines, able to conduct themselves in such a manner that their activities, both personal and official, will not discredit Beyond Behavior.
Essential Functioning- Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate professional and clinical training needs of employees providing ABA services to the Lead BCBA and Regional Clinic Manager.
- Work as part of the team to develop policies, procedures and systems for clinical service delivery within Beyond Behavior ABA Program
- Participate in interviews for high-quality Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians.
- Provide consistent and high-quality supervision of staff for a minimum of 10% of client direct hours
- Conduct and/or collaborate on employee reviews, employee disciplinary actions and termination as appropriate and follow outlined procedures for employee interactions.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on related legislation and policy at the state and national level.
- Conduct all duties required of a Behavior Analyst in a timely, professional manner including Caregiver Training, Case Management and Supervision of staff as outlined in the BACB guidelines.
- Assign and conduct Treatment Integrity checks, Interobserver Agreements, write and modify treatment plans and provide clinical comparison and analysis of all clients on caseload. Treatment Integrity Checks and Session Note reviews should be completed for each employee once per quarter
- Train, direct and support Behavior Technicians/RBT’s in Discrete Trial Training and other Applied Behavior Analysis interventions and strategies to ensure high-quality, clinical ABA services are provided
- Provide BT/RBT’s with training or coaching needed for timely completion of high quality clinical service documentation
- Responsible for audit and approval of clinical service documentation completed by BT/RBT’s in a timely manner; ensuring all requirements are met for any provided ABA services
- Maintain HIPAA and all required confidentiality standards
- Attend meetings as needed (can include Clinical, Management, Training or One on One with upper level management) via Telehealth or in-person as appropriate
- Communicate professionally with employees, clients, and the general public alike
- Maintain professional ethics and behaviors with employees, clients and the general public alike
- Maintain a strict level of employee/supervisor confidentiality (has signed a confidentiality agreement as well)
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 24+billable hours per week FT
- Must give two months’ notice when resigning
- All other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor
