Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy offers a variety of services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We offer assessment and intervention for the following: language development, social skills, and play skills in children with ASD. Interventions include Verbal Behavior Training, Discrete Trial Instruction, Incidental Teaching, and Behavior Management—each of which are described below. Additionally, parent training workshops are also offered for parents interested in learning basics of behavior management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of ABA for children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff members on the implementation of behavior plans and interventions
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to treatment
- Monitor and track progress towards treatment goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of the principles of ABA and behavior intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
