Our Mission:
The mission of this program is to deliver evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and adults with developmental disabilities to promote and empower individuals with developmental disabilities to maximize their potential by minimizing deficits in communication, socialization, and adaptive living skills. Our program focuses on providing children with developmental disabilities and their caregivers/guardians with direct access to ABA therapy services in order to target socially significant behaviors that serve as a health and safety concern to self or others, impeded on independence, or decreases a client’s chances of accessing least restrictive supports, services and environments.
Destined For Dignity ABA is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, the BCBA will be responsible for providing behavior analysis services to clients, including parent training, supervision of Behavior Technicians (BT), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), conducting assessments and developing treatment plans, as well as monitoring and reviewing programs and writing client progress reports for reauthorization purposes. This is a 100% remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and other assessments as necessary to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Collaborating with a team of professionals and other members of the client's support system, to ensure the implementation of evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Providing parent training and support to ensure that caregivers have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement behavior intervention programs at home.
- Supervising BTs and RBTs by providing ongoing training, feedback, and support to ensure the effective delivery of behavior intervention services.
- Monitoring client progress and making data-based decisions to modify treatment plans as needed.
- Writing high-quality progress reports for reauthorization purposes, documenting client progress, and communicating effectively with funding sources and other stakeholders.
- Implementing interventions that are in line with ethical guidelines and best practice standards in the field of behavior analysis.
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of behavior analysis.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current BCBA certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis.
- License to practice in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of behavior analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and designing behavior intervention programs based on the principles of ABA.
- Demonstrated ability to provide parent training and supervision to support staff.
- Familiarity with relevant ethical guidelines and professional standards in the field of behavior analysis.
