Job Description:
The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities through the implementation of behavior analysis techniques. This position involves working closely with clients to develop and execute individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance patient care. The BCaBA is responsible for training and managing RBT and BTs under BCBA direction.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Conduct assessments and collect data on client behaviors to monitor progress.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest research in behavioral therapy and apply findings to practice.
Skills
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques, particularly for individuals with autism.
