Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCaBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to clients in various settings. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, ensuring they are tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to coordinate care and support for clients.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on best practices in behavior management.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and provide resources for additional support.
Requirements:
- Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Experience with special education services is preferred.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and data collection methodologies.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and maintaining medical records.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
