Daily Responsibilities:

Work directly with a variety of students (behavior, learning, activities of daily living, communication, community-based instruction, vocation development)
Implement programming and behavior plans under supervised support to include data collection
Create teaching and classroom materials
Implement the Crisis Prevention Intervention model to support students with unwanted behaviors
Assist with classroom daily activities and lessons to help students develop skills and independence

Experience is preferred; however, all staff will be fully trained during the onboarding process.

Ability to participate in physical interventions, when necessary, using certified safety techniques (training provided).
Physical interventions are a last resort and targeted to be reduced, however when they occur, they may require physical exertion.
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: kneeling, lifting, bending, twisting, and holding in a quick paced environment.
