Founded in 2011, Early Autism Solutions seeks to be a dependable service provider for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Serving Washington DC, our commitment is to provide services that will enhance each child's quality of life as well as his or her family's. Because we specialize in working with children up to 20 years old, we can focus our attention on the very specific needs of children and their families. We hope to reach children early, so that intervention can begin as soon as possible. We understand that with early intervention, comes increased opportunity for success.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and understanding when under pressure or when communicating with unhappy families or staff.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond via email to inquiries from staff, families, referral sources and potential clients.
- Schedule appointments and procedures using the electronic scheduling system (Central Reach).
- Manage staff and client schedule, must be present at the center from 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm depending on the day.
- Light cleaning to ensure center stays clean (take out the trash, clean tabletops/chairs)
- Organize materials in therapy rooms.
- Ensure safety protocols when children are unattended (without a therapist).
- Pick up and drop off children from transportation outside the center.
Base Salary:
- $55k - $65k a year with health benefits
